Speckles of poppy red and sunflower yellow are scattered throughout, adding bursts of brilliance to its floral motif.
Marigold Fields reflects the warmth of a late-summer meadow. It responds beautifully to changing light, casting a spectacular interplay of shadows and reflections. Its distinctive shape and soft, fluid curves are a rare formation that I have yet to replicate.

Surrounded by the towering Rocky Mountains, I was struck by the expanse of the Western landscape and the Native philosophy of Hózhó (The Beauty Way): living in balance with the beauty, harmony and well-being of all life. A visit and hike through the Garden of the Gods was especially breathtaking with its colorful wildflowers and massive red rock formations beneath an endless blue sky, ultimately guiding the sculpture’s design.
